1. What is NUFDI's relationship with Prince Reza Pahlavi?
NUFDI supports Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi's vision for the future of Iran. For forty years he has been the leader of the secular-democratic opposition to the Islamic regime in Iran and his leadership will be critical in the transitional period after its downfall, until an internationally-supervised referendum. To that end, NUFDI supports the Prince's activities and goals to the extent possible.
2. What are NUFDI's goals?
NUFDI aims to promote the cause of freedom and democracy in Iran which will honor the human rights of all of its citizens. To achieve that goal, we promote the cause of liberty in Iran in the West. We engage lawmakers, think tanks, thought leaders, and prominent leaders in all spheres of society to promote the cause of freedom in our homeland and the vision of Prince Reza Pahlavi.
